Solve problems with Windows XP installation SP3

Posted by Xaus Xavier Nadal 24th on May 2010

There is a problem with the MUI pack Remote Desktop Connection for Windows XP 6.0 with SP2 (kb925877) that makes it not compatible with Windows XP SP3 and gives problems installing Service Pack 3.

The solution to this problem is to remove the registry key: HKLM \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Hotfix \ KB925877

And run the service pack installation 3 again.

Problem solved.

See you soon, I hope you have been helpful.
